Ad Manager: Clone a campaign and multi-advertiser ads
What’s New?
Ability to Clone an existing ad manager campaign.
"Multi-Advertiser Ads" - These ads in Meta are a type of advertising format that allows multiple advertisers to showcase their products or services within the same ad space.
How it works?
Click on the ellipses of the campaign you want to make a copy and select the option to 'Clone', an exact replica of that campaign gets created at the top of the list with the campaign name suffixed with "(clone)".
In the Ad Content section under Ad text & Media section, a checkbox of 'Multi-advertiser ads' is added which is checked by default and can be turned off by the publisher.
When a potential shopper interacts with an ad, a multi-advertiser carousel may appear below it that displays products from other businesses. The products in the carousel are usually related to the ad that the user engaged with.
Why it Matters?
Cloning of an ad campaign helps save time, maintain consistency, and effectively expand or optimize your campaigns.
Cloning is effective to:
Scale Successful Campaigns: Clone high-performing campaigns to expand reach without starting from scratch.
Test Different Audiences: Clone campaigns to target various audience segments and compare performance.
Replicate Across Placements or Regions: Clone and adjust campaigns to fit new placements, regions, or countries.
Using 'Multi-advertiser ads' results in increased reach, cost efficiency and cross promotion amongst other benefits.
Important Note:
Multi-advertiser ads may not be a fit for all types of campaigns, especially if there’s a need for clear brand separation or unique messaging for each business.
